Sadly, those two are creating more trails… the areas is supposed to be left alone, no trails added, no development, etc. But yet, there they are.

Long ago, I’d guess less than 25% of the backyards where I am on the peninsula were fenced-in. With time, came more dogs and necessarily the fences to contain them. It cut off land access and pathways for wildlife and left territorial dogs that marked and barked. I love dogs, but they haven’t been good for wildlife.

I do that fairly frequently. Not knowing where that is, my bigger question is why are they carrying shovels after dark? Did two of them go down that trail but only one return?
